Made with Hue & Me yarn in the color Toast, this sweater was a fun game one weekend where I tried to make a sweater in 24 hours. I started on a Saturday evening around 6pm (grabbed my skeins, circular 8mm needles, and stitch markers) sat down, and started my German short rows. Using the shoulder increases of M1L, M1R, with one knit stitch between I ended the evening with separating the arm holes around 11:00pm. The next morning I sat down with partner, we put on a show, and I got to work. As sleeve island was dragging on later in the day I didn’t know if I would make it or not. With 3 hours to go I started on the neck and knew I had to get to weaving in the ends. By the next day just before my 24 hour mark it was done and my arms were numb so we decided to take the sweater for a stroll. I will probably never attempt to make another sweater in 24 hours again but am glad to know if for some unforeseen reason I desperately need to, I know what approach I can take.
